We love to think we have absolute control over our lives, and then something happens that shakes shit up! I know first-hand ... this is my current life story. When things seem to be going at paces faster than your eyes can blink, or you are entering an uncomfortable phase of your life, use these tips to help you get back to being the badass that you are! 1. Scream. That's right! Let it all out, girl. I can't tell you how often I've had to just stand in the center of a room and scream until I couldn't hold the note anymore. It is so therapeutic and really cleansing. 2. Write. Obviously journaling is always a good idea. It is the best way to say whatever the hell you want without any back-talk! I write daily, and transferring those thoughts in my head to a piece of paper seriously quiets my mind. 3. Drastic times calls for drastic measures. Now I know that's not the saying, but it could be. No? Well, I always find that doing something physical helps me feel like I am back in the driver's seat. Do a workout like crossfit, try a new food, cut your fucking hair! I love the latter. I literally did this a week ago. I truly believe that in some cases adding in a new thing that YOU chose makes it easier to deal with the things occurring that you have no control over. 4. Be happy about it. This may shock you, but saying "Oh, well" may be all the attitude you need to really have you in boss mode again. Though the pending change in my life is unwanted, I welcomed it with open arms. I cried about it, then I laughed and finally, I smiled and said "Let's do this shit!" You've always been a boss babe and just because life dropped a tsunami in your path doesn't mean you can't ride those waves. Hang on love, you've got this!
